Instagram Images, Ideas and Inspiration
I have been a bad blogger lately! Lack of blog posting, but lots of instagram images, ideas and inspiration at an instant..... perhaps I have just got a little lazy over the summer months, but fear not blogging will resume again shortly. Lots of progress being made in my garden and my home....
All things nice... on Instagram
So I eventually got an instagram account
If you would like to follow me, here is the link http://instagram.com/allthingsnice_4life/

Hope you have a nice weekend.

Add some interest to your walls...
We put this home sweet home canvas in our kitchen. This was a total bargain at €3.00 from Pennys. All of these add a nice homely feel to our home. I have lots of photo frames but no photographs to put in them yet. Do you put many photographs of your family and friends around your home? I have only one of my parents wedding. I have none of my own wedding yet but I intend to get one or two developed.
More Wedding Photographs...
A few more of my wedding photographs, this time they are all of me. This was the doorway into the walled garden. I love the hotel we had our reception in- Lough Rynn Castle, if you haven't been to it, you must go, it is really beautiful and testament to our rich built heritage here in rural Ireland.

Just a few images
Photos from the weekend...
I spent this weekend in County Donegal Ireland, here are a few photographs I took, the weather was nice. I just love the sea air.
A view of the sky from my parents holiday home, isn't it beautiful.
A distant rainbow.
A stroll along the beach.
And the last two photographs are of County Longford Ireland from the last weekend in September.
A view of the countryside
And a quaint country cottage, isn't it pretty....
Hope you are all having a lovely week :)
Last weekend of May...
I spent last weekend with my boyfriend, took a few photographs on Sunday, Saturday was dreary and miserable so I painted for awhile and stayed indoors. Here are three photographs I though I'd share with you all. I took them on Sunday. Here is a nice flower in bloom in the garden, love the colour.
We went for a drive too, took this photograph of some of the lakes.
And spotted this wee traditional cottage which is not a restaurant, thought it was pretty too
Hope you all had a nice weekend, next weekend is our bank holiday weekend :-) Looking forward to that!
Paris... Some of my old holiday photographs
Some of my blogger friends have reminded me of my holidays in Paris. Here are a few of my holiday photographs from Paris when I was there a a year and a half ago. It really is a truly enchanting place, with something nice to see around every corner. I went on holidays with two of my friends and saw lots of the lovely sites which I had visited before. I'm not a great photographer but I really like these photographs. It is such a wonderful city
Some Feathered Friends
I had a quiet weekend yet again, I was learning to identify wetland birds so now I know the difference between Mute Swans, Whooper Swans and Bewick's Swans. I also have learned 5 different Geese and a few Ducks so I have a good many more to go, I have sketched each of them to aid in their identification. I have yet to see some of these birds but as I am going to volunteer to do some wetland bird surveys I need to know what Im going be looking out for- haha it would help wouldn't it!!! Anyways enough about those birds, here are a few blurry photographs of garden birds I spotted out the window this morning when I was having breakfast. There were some Goldfinch, Robins and some Blue Tits I think thats what they were anyway. They are blurry as I have a very unsteady hand and I took them through the window so I wouldn't disturb them. Hope you like my new feathered friends :)
Some of my Church/ Cathedral Photographs
I love the architecture of ecclesiastical buildings, here are just a few of my photographs from my travels. And no I am not a really holy/ religious person, I dont pray in all of these places.

*Note: These photographs were all taken by myself, hence they are not the best of photography but I hope you enjoy taking a look at them
Today I like....
Calligraphy- The word Calligraphy literally means beautiful writing. Before the invention of the printing press some 500 years ago, it was the way books were made. Today, there are three main types or styles of calligraphy: (1) Western or Roman, (2) Arabic, and (3) Chinese or Oriental. It is mostly in the form of elegant hand writing. It is an art form in itself. It allows you to juxtapose creativity with attention to detail in order to create something beautiful and exact.
