Oh how I love life in the countryside! No traffic jams, no fumes, no crowds, just the wide open countryside with lush green fields, rolling hills and wildlife all around....

Loving Rural Life....
Work in progress....
I have been busy moving my books and the remaining belongings from my parents home to my new house, here is my wee reading room/ study with some of my books in it. I have more shelves to put in and need to get a desk too. I'm also looking out for a large mat and some bean bags too for relaxing and reading. Have you a reading room or study???
A Sunday Stroll...
The weather is so beautiful here in Ireland. Today myself and my husband went for a nice long walk along the lake shore, he went fishing and I took some photographs while taking in the wildlife all around me. His land goes right down to the lake shore for a few miles so I call it his little peace of paradise!
My new furniture has arrived...
What do you think? I will have to take some photographs of the room for you. The weather is fab here in Ireland this week, hence the reason for my lack of blogging. Hope everyone is having a nice week and the sun is shining where you are!
Honeymoon Booked.....

Longing for Summer Sunshine...
{Images via Good Homes Magazine}
I hope we get long warm Summer days soon. The weather is so miserable, lots of rain and very cold too!
Midweek already!!
Hello everyone, how was your weekend? I can't believe how quick the days are going by. All is quiet here in rural Ireland. I was busy over the weekend trying to sort out my wee study, I'm still moving books from my parents house. I want to get a large mat for the room too. I think we have choosen Madeira as our honeymoon destination now. I have been busy and purchased new furniture for our spare bedroom and can't wait for it to be delivered. I will post some photographs of it when it arrives- it's a cross between shabby chic and french boudoir! Off to feed the calves now :)

In my kitchen...
I like it no matter where it is!!!
New neighbours have moved in...
Hello everyone. Hope you are enjoying the first few days of May. The weather has been nice and mild. We have some new neighbours just up the lane and over the field. Come along with me and you will meet them.....
Almost there now... just over by the hedge and down to the lake shore....
Have you spotted them??
They have settled in really well to their new home... they spent the last few days organising and building their nest together...
It's really big and very impressive
What a lovely couple...
I will stop by and check in with them again to see how they are progressing over the next week or two and I will let you know when the rest of the family arrives...
