Hope everyone had a nice week. In my last post I shared some photographs of my walk at the Farnham Estate in Cavan. Here are a few photographs of the interiors of the hotel which includes the original estate house. It has beautiful woodland walks which we really enjoyed. Following our walk we had tea and scones. I have also heard great reviews of their spa and infinity swimming pool. If you would like to find out more visit Farnham Estate Golf & Spa Resort website.

Farnham Estate Walk
This weekend I tried to spend as much time as possible outside when the weather was good. On Saturday myself and my sister in law went for a long walk at the Farnham Estate near to where we live. I had never gone for a walk in the grounds before. We took the long route and afterwards went for a much needed cup of tea and scone.
Views of the hotel which was the former Estate House
This photo looks like it was stretched but it isn't. That is the actual shape and size of the tree. Spot the lanterns hanging from the lower branches too.

Pretty flowers for the weekend...

I'd have to choose the one with the hydrangeas....

Nature Reserve on Ile de Re
If you read my blog and follow me on Instagram, you will notice that I love nothing more than escaping the hustle and bustle and spending time exploring the countryside. On my last visit to France in the Autumn time, I visited this Nature Reserve with lots of salt marshes abundant with wildlife. There are walking/cycling paths winding their way through the marshes and the air feels so fresh. I would love to visit in the Summer time when the skies are blue but they may be more visitors around them...
