A Wonderful Walk in the Woods...
Today I went for a lovely walk in the woods with my mother, everywhere looks so nice when the weather is good. The bluebells are almost ready to bloom and the birdsong was amazing. Take a look at my photographs below and you can explore this lovely woodland with me.
I ♥ life in the countryside
As you all know my blog is all about things I like... basically all things nice... So you may have gathered that I love life in the countryside. Here are a few photographs of life at home in the Irish coutryside, some photographs of places near to where I live. I love the Irish Countryside, the tranquility, the fresh air, the sound of the animals and the life in general. In 2011, I hope that our new house will be completed and then I can move to my new home with my boyfriend, we will then live on the farm, I can't wait :o) Below are a few photographs I have taken this year when I was out and about at home :)
Farm Chicks
I found this lovely website and blog while browsing the web this weekend and thought I'd share it with you all. I love it and as I am moving to a farm I feel it is totally me, I love rural life and represent all that is rural :-) What is a Farm Chick?
According to the website 'A Farm Chick is a girl who sees the world through rose-colored glasses. She loves her family. She laughs a lot. She's farmgirl meets Fifth Avenue and with a little style, she'll change the world'
I hope you like it as much as I do!

Country Garden
You have have noticed that I am not very green fingered but I can appreciate some nice gardens when I see them and I love the natural environment, I love trees and flowers and when I get my new home I want a lovely garden too. I help out alot in my mother's garden. At the weekend I took these photographs of the garden centre and gardens at the estate we visited, hope you like them!
Beautiful Bedclothes
Here are a few of my favourites :) They have a bit of a country cottage look don't you think :)

Irish Blog Awards- Nominations
Hello my dear blog friend and followers
I had news this week that my Country Heritage Blog has been longlisted in the Best Art and Culture Blog(sponsored by Poetry Ireland) category of the Irish Blog Awards 2010. I don't know who nominated my blog as it is the blog that I update the least. I had never heard of the Irish Blog Awards until about a month ago. I'm very grateful to get longlisted and thanks to all my blog friends which ever of my blogs you visit :-)
