Are you a dedicated follower of fashion...

Are you a dedicated follower of fashion?? Do you like to keep up to date with the latest style and wear 'what's in'? Maybe you love to keep on top of what is in trend but me, nope, I have my own style. I love casual country style clothing and you can check out some of the country style outfits I like over on my Pinterest Board.

However, I also love bright pastel colours as they impact my mood. Spring may be over, but I am definitely not over pastel colours. I love them, give me baby blue, power pink or mint green any day! Savida at Dunnes Stores have some lovely pastel clothing, accessories and shoes at the moment. Here are a few items I love. I gave in and purchased the laser cut shoes and the cute scalloped edged handbag which was in the sale- Bonus! What type of clothing do you like the most? Are you a dedicated follower of fashion? Or like me, do you go it alone and pick your own style.

Retail Therapy

Sorry I haven't blogged as frequently lately, I have been struck down with some type of computer virus but I think it is sorted now- fingers crossed! Since I was last blogging I took a day off work and had some retail therapy. I bought a few bits and bobs. See below, from top left, Woodland Friends Fabric which my aunt is going to use to make a roman blind for my spare room along with two cushions for the bed. Next up a nice pair of wedges from New Look which are quite trendy. I didn't want sandal wedges as I can wear these even when it is raining! Some limited edition nail polish from M&S, to be honest this isn't great nail polish and I wouldn't recommend it as it smudges when going on and finally I bought two new pairs of ultra soft super skinny jeans from Primark or in Ireland otherwise known as Penny's. We are also trying to sort out our garden these days and are having problems with rabbits eating our Holly plants which we set as a hedge. They are eating all the leaves apart from the ones at the very top, so it will take forever to thicken out. We are spotting hares every day in the field behind our home. I'm off now to feed the wee calves. Chat soon and remember some retail therapy is always good :)

All that glitters...

Today I love...
Glittery high heel shoes, do you like them?

Some Christmas Presents I got...

Above are two pairs of shoes and dresses I got as Christmas presents. I got lots of other nice things. Hope you are all enjoying the festive season

A girl can never have too many shoes...

I had to go shopping a few weekends ago to buy some birthday gifts and I decided to get myself a new pair of sports shoes for casual wear, the current pair I have are over two years old now, I bought them in Paris when on holidays. They are light ones and very comfy. As I ain't really sporty I don't need veery expensive ones but as I get a lot of wear out of them I like to buy a very comfy pair
Here is a photograph of my new ones, I like the colour :)
And here are a pair of shoes I've spotted and will have to put on my wish list, they are really unique and quirky
