With the voucher I got from my birthday earlier in the Autumn I got these pretty items. Hope you like them. First I bought two of these pretty pale blue cushions with roses all over, they were €4.00 each
Then I bought two of these flock cushion €4.00 each again.
And finally two of these pretty lamps, they are medium size at €10.00 each.
So that's a total of €36.00 for 6 items from Heatons- all for my bottom drawer, got with my gift voucher!

Antique Lace Anyone???
I'm on holidays from work this week and some time this week I might go here;
And look at these pretty lace mobiles, aren't they magical- they would look lovely in a bedroom or on a Christmas Tree. So I highly recommend you visit their lovely website where you can explore the award winning Sheelin Antique Irish Lace Museum and Shop which houses over 700 exhibits dating from 1890-1920.

Here are just a few of the items I will have and some I hope to have in my new home. I don't really know what you would call the style, it's a mixed lot really, from my own crafts, to gifts I have received, to some handmade items, pretty plates, colourful cushions, you get the idea I'm sure.

A Visit to a Car Boot Sale
Bank Holiday Monday I decided to bring my Dad for a drive in the morning time so we headed for a Car Boot Sale. It was good just to rummage around and take a look at all the stalls/ boots/ vans/ trailors full of other people's items, I didn't bring the camera but I will share with you what I bought. I will go again some weeked soon to another one I know of. I prefer it to the markets as there is a very large market every Saturday on the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland however it tends to have stalls with seconds, generally clothing, electricals, tools and bed clothes which aren't really my thing. I prefer to get an odd bargain and something more unique.
So here's my shopping/bargaining:
So here's my shopping/bargaining:
A beautiful small white and blue crochet blanket with wavy edges. I have to wash it yet but once it's washed I'll show you it properly, I thought it would look nice in my blue bedroom on the wicker chair- pretty isn't it- I got it for €4.00
Next I got this nice dainty tea cup and saucer which I thought was quite pretty for €4.00, it is now displayed in the glass cabinet in the kitchen. And there you have it- my purchases at the Car Boot Sale. I'm an amateur really!
Some of my ideas...
