Visited Lovely Lisbon in the Autumn. It is a wonderful city to explore with such lovely architecture and things to do. The weather was very hot so we just wandered around and took in all the sights of the city.

Autumn on the Wild Atlantic Way....
Autumn has really set in here in Ireland. The days are getting shorter and there is a real chill to the air in the mornings. Here are a few photos of my recent trip along the Wild Atlantic Way...
The Weekend at Last...
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I was so glad for the weekend to arrive as I was working late a lot of the nights this week- it's a long day at work from 9:00am until after 9:00pm and as I commute I wasn't home until almost 11:00pm some of the nights. It was nice today to catch up on housework and go for a nice long walk around the farm. The morning was lovely, we even had some bright blue skies... Below are some photographs from the farm... Enjoy the rest of your weekend..
Some Interior Design & Farming- Life in Rural Ireland
Hello everyone... It's midweek already which is great. I have holidays to take from work so I have decided to make a long weekend of it. Can't believe it's Easter- the year seems to be flying by. I had an extremely busy weekend, gardening, working on the farm, painting and put together some new furniture I purchased in IKEA.
Above are some photographs of my sunroom. I'm trying to create an eclectic look for it.. Doing some painting of furniture so I will post some photographs when it all comes together.
On Sunday I explored along the lake shore and helped out on the farm.
And just a few more photos from home...

Home Sweet Home for a Long Weekend
It is great to have a long weekend off work thanks to Saint Patrick's Day... The weather has been wonderful here so I have been making the most of it. I'm also doing a bit of DIY around the home and helping out on the farm- feeding calves and tagging..... Have you any nice plans for the weekend? Below are just a few photographs from the week gone by..

Making the most of the long evenings
This photo looks more like a Christmas card but when I spotted this little robin posing for me I had to take a photo.
It is lovely to see sheep in the Spring time.. We have none on our farm but any time I spot them I want to take them home...
Spring is on its way in Ireland
Last weekend we had dry crisp weather which made such a change. I done lots of Spring cleaning on Saturday and went to a birthday party Saturday night. Sunday I spent time with family and went off for a lovely long walk around the farm in the evening. It was really cold but I wrapped up warm and off I went. Below are some of my photos, you can see how the light was changing and the sun began to set over the lake. I love getting out and about with lots of fresh air...
Pretty Palma de Mallorca
Here are some of my holiday photos from Palma de Mallorca which I forgot to share with you. Look at those wonderful blue skies. The Cathedral of Santa Maria is spectacular and a real landmark in the city. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere. Have you been to Mallorca??
Life in Rural Ireland....
Any of you that know me, will know that I am a home bird. I love nothing more than spending time at home in the peace and quiet of rural Ireland. There are lakes all around us with drumlin hills dotted on the landscape. In the good weather I like getting out of a walk along the lake shores which the farm runs along. Below are just some of my images from my local area from 2015. We live approximately 130km from the nearest city and about 25km to the nearest large town (there are smaller towns in closer proximity but they have no cinema, clothes shops, swimming pool, etc.) Our local village about 1km away has two shops, a post office, three pubs and a petrol station so it useful to have these nearby.
Ireland in November
It's hard to believe it is just one more week until December. 2015 seems to be flying by. I am looking forward to Christmas and lots of holidays from work... I love Christmas time and decorating my home- making it really cosy and warm for the long winter nights. Below are just a few images of life in the Irish Countryside in November... Hope you enjoy them...
