Holidays.... Any Ideas?

Have you your holidays booked for this year yet? I really need a break and some sunshine and heat. But where to go? That is the question... Any suggestions are welcomed. I have taken a cruise the past two years and am a bit spoiled as a result. We can only go for 7-9 days probably in August or September... The joys of farming life... Cruises suit us as we can see a few countries in a very short space of time and have less hassle with airports and transport  I was thinking of another Eastern Mediterranean Cruise...

Some Memories from Mallorca...

Wanderlust is really setting in...

So with our poor weather in Ireland this Summer, I am so glad I still have my holidays to look forward to later in the Autumn. This year I'm off to Spain, France, Italy and the island of Mallorca. I really can't wait to get some sunshine and explore lots of new locations. We are going on a cruise again with Royal Caribbean on the Allure of the Seas which is a much larger ship than the one we went on last year. We will be visiting Barcelona, Marseille, Palma and three locations in Italy. We hope to visit Cinque Terre for a day also. If anyone has taken this cruise or has any tips on the best places to visit, do let me know....

Casual Day out in Corfu

More holiday snaps to show you, as you will know from my previous blog posts I went on a cruise recently, we spent some time in Venice and then it was on to Kotor, Montenegro for our first stop off. Our next stop was Corfu. Corfu is one of the Greek Islands. While in Corfu we visited the town, the Palace grounds and also the old fortress which dominates the east side of the city of Corfu. There was fabulous views from here and we enjoyed just strolling around and taking everything in. It was a glorious day and I even did a bit of shopping. I won't bore you with all the details as I have a lot of blog posts about my travels. The pictures say it all, enjoy.

Booked our Holidays for 2014!

With all this rain and wind, it is becoming increasingly miserable here in Ireland soooooo we have booked our holidays for 2014! We didn't go anywhere last year so we decided to have a good holiday this year. My husband really deserves the break too. So we are hitting the sun visiting Italy, Montenegro, Greece and a few of the Greek Islands :)
