One loves tea, do you? How do you like yours? In Ireland we drink a lot of tea and I am always happy with tea, however these pretty vintage style tea cups just don't hold enough for me. I have a favourite mug of course both at home and in work. Hope you are all having a nice week, the sun is shining and it is time for me to go and do my jobs on the farm. Have some tea on me, ahhh go on, go on....

What I hope to buy at the weekend...
I got a gift voucher for my birthday and have had my eye on this tea set in a long long time, it was more expensive but has been reduced :-) Which makes me really happy as I can use my gift voucher for it now. The tea pot is €5.00, yes €5.00! And the plates are €2.00! It may not last that long but in all fairness it would look so pretty in my new home. I know my new home is only being built at the minute and isn't even to the first floor but I want to buy some items for it now as when it comes time to move in, I will have so much to buy. I'm still living at home with my parents since returning from University and getting a job! I'm a home bird! So stay tuned as I will hopefully make these purchases at the weekend :-)

Am I weird to be this excited about a tea set and dinnerware set??
There is always time for...
Tea.... in lovely china and floral tea cups with delicate handles and tiny teaspoons, lots of milk and a good chat with a friend... Bliss! Anyone that knows me will know how much I love tea.
On my visit to Edinburgh my friends brought me to a place they knew I would love. It was called Clarinda's Tearoom on the Royal Mile. It was like my grans kitchen :o) We had breakfast and some lovely fairy cakes- yes I know those who indulge bulge, however it was more of a balanced diet of good and bad! Here are a few photographs to share with you. Sorry they are not the best of photographs as I was trying tp avoid the other customers.
Some Items for my Wish List :o)
I haven't been out shopping in a long time now, but I still love to take a look online at all the lovely home accessories on offer, here are a few lovely items I saw on the Marks & Spencers website. Our nearest M&S store is about an hour from my house so I don't get to it too often and it doesn't stock any of the homewares :( I also love Next home accessories but again I don't get to the shop too often. The first set of images are all ways to update your home with a few choice picks. Check out the adorable gingham teapot and cups and saucers, the pretty table lamp and red cushions- they are some of my favourites.
And for some inspiration these folklore trends are really in. Again the cushions are really fabulous!

And finally some lovely summer blossoms- all things floral which I love!!
