Saint Martin de Re in France...
Following on from my previous post, here are some more photographs from our visit to Ile de Re. We stayed in St. Martin de Re which is a beautiful village with a harbour. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is absolutely beautiful. You have to visit to see it in its true beauty. Below are all photographs of Saint Martin de Re. It is such a clean and historic village, an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hope you enjoy...

Exploring the Wild Atlantic Way
As you know I love getting away to the sea, while I don't swim I love the sea air, it is so refreshing and good for the soul. A few weeks ago we went for a night to Donegal and toured along the Sligo coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way. Below are a few photographs from our trip.
From top: Mullaghmore sea front, Church ruin with ox eye daisy, cows relaxing at Streedagh (they don't even move when cars drives by), the remainder of the photographs are from Streedagh Beach.

Marseille for a Day...
As a follow on to my post on Palma de Mallorca, the next stop on our holidays was the
city of Marseille in southern France. I have visited the south of France before taking in Monaco, Nice and Cannes so it was nice to explore further along the coastline. Marseille is France's oldest city and as a result it is steeped in history. The weather was lovely when we visited and we spent a lot of our time around the lively Vieux Port (Old Port).

Images from County Leitrim - One of the Most Rural Areas of Ireland
As you are all aware I love spending my time in rural Ireland. Here are a few images I took around County Leitrim. County Leitrim is a very rural county with beautiful unspoilt landscapes.
