Firstly, no I am not a cat woman at all! We have no pets here at our house. But... we have plenty of cats on the farm- they are good at keeping away the mice and also nice for company about the place. When I moved here over 2 years ago there were 3 cats. Sadly the oldest one Muffin died and then one of the cats had kittens, so I got to keep one which I named Tommy. Tommy is the one below with the heart nose- isn't he cute? So we then had three cats on the farm. My father in law feeds them but they are pretty wild and only Tommy like let you near him. Then another wee kitten arrived last year and we named him Tilly (see bottom photograph). So now we have four cats in residence on the farm and every so often we have a few visitor cats come around at feeding time. Do you have any cats? We don't have any dogs at all, as I don't think they would hit it off with the cats.

I took a few days off work and spent as much time as possible outdoors. The weather is still lovely although the temperatures have dropped to mid 20 degrees, rather than 30 degrees +. This is the first time I have ever got a tan! Before I would just burn and it would peel but not this time! I am getting lots of freckles and tanning too so it is all good. and have neighbours like these :-) They really warm my heart.

I already live in a very rural location on the outskirts of a small town with about 400 people in it, but my new home will be outside a very small village with just around 100 people in it. It is based on my boyfriend's farmland and although some of the above are already my neighbours, they all will be soon :-)

We are located almost two hours from the nearest city and there are no motorways in our county at all, so the pace of life is nice and slow and relaxing, just the way I like it!
