Playing in the sand...
This weekend I met up with some friends in the city and came across these sand sculptures at Dublin Castle. They are truly works of art! We also visited my friends exhibition in the Civic Trust and the National Museum for a short while. Then tea and cake in Avoca :) Hope you are having a nice weekend. It is a long weekend here in Ireland so I am looking forward to my day off tomorrow.

Add some interest to your walls...
We put this home sweet home canvas in our kitchen. This was a total bargain at €3.00 from Pennys. All of these add a nice homely feel to our home. I have lots of photo frames but no photographs to put in them yet. Do you put many photographs of your family and friends around your home? I have only one of my parents wedding. I have none of my own wedding yet but I intend to get one or two developed.
Beautiful Chalkboard Art for Christmas....

Is your hall door this interesting??
These doors are all so unique, I took the photographs while on holidays in Madeira. They are really interesting, located in the Old Town of Funchal.

Today I love Wilson Grapics Etsy Shop- Wall Decor
I came across these amazing etsy shop while looking around at wall decor online. As you all know I am currently trying to get my new home painted, and then look what I found- these delightful wall decals. They would really brighten up some of the rooms in my new home- particularly the bedrooms and study. They are also very reasonably priced. Check out Wilsongraphics (on Etsy). It is a family run business which has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Romantic Country and many more home decor publications. They have a wide selection of designs and styles to suit everyones taste and for every room. From cute sweet animals to delicate floral and funny designs. For the travellers out there, check out the portholes. My favourites are the star bunting, the chandeliers and Alice in Wonderland themes!
Right now they are offering a discount to first time customers. Use coupon WELCOME20 to save 20% off your entire order.

Free art.....
Here is a wonderful website I came across called Feed Your Soul. It is a free art project. Each month artists contribute a free print available for download. Every month you get a new print :) This project is coordinated by Jen Wallace of Indie Fixx to help art lovers feed their souls with art in these difficult economic times and to help artists promote their work. Go check it out! I love it :)
