This weekend I visited Dunnes Stores which is a local Department Store here in Ireland. I hadn't visited in a long time and I was very impressed with their homewares. Over the past few years they have introduced new ranges including Paul Costelloe, Consider by Helen James and Carolyn Donnelly. It is more expensive but the items are definitely higher quality.

From looking at the above images, it is probably obvious that my favourite is the Carolyn Donnelly range as it full of pastels and floral patterns, all so bright and cheerful.

Maybe you love to keep on top of what is in trend but me, nope, I have my own style. However, I also love bright pastel colours as they impact my mood. Spring may be over, but I am definitely not over pastel colours. I love them, give me baby blue, power pink or mint green any day! Have you checked out Dunnes Stores online yet? Those of you from Ireland and the UK will be well aware of it, but for those of you further afield, it is an Irish retail chain based in Dublin Ireland. It also has stores in England, Scotland and Spain and you can now visit there online store. I love the new Carolyn Donnelly Eclectic Range from Dunnes, it is so in and so me too! The weather is awful here in Ireland, dark, damp, wet and windy. On top of that it is freezing cold too. I need some sunshine badly, so in order to sprinkle some brightness into my day I have been admiring these beautiful pastel shades in clothing. They are fresh and cheerful. Hopefully the weather will improve soon. I have today off work so went to get my hair cut. Have you any nice plans for the weekend?

 

Came across these Lola and Laura duvet sets in Dunnes Stores and thought they were really pretty and reasonably priced too :) Very girly indeed!

Here in Ireland the largest Irish owned retailers are Dunnes Stores (some of you have already heard of them).Their stores are dotted throughout the country and they have a combination of Food, Textiles and Homewares all under one roof.
