This Summer I'm exploring more of Ireland with lots of day trips away. We have no holidays booked for abroad so I'm making the most of what we have to offer here in Ireland. One place I visited in the past few weeks was Carlingford in County Louth, it is such a pretty little town with a great buzz and lots to see and do. So if you are exploring Ireland's Ancient East, do stop off in Carlingford...

Ulster American Folk Park Part II
More photographs from the Ulster American Folk Park. This time its the Irish streetscape with traditional shopfronts. Not much has changed over the years and lots of towns look like this today, however the interiors have modernised a lot over the years . Love the old bottles and jars in these shops. One of the Prettiest Villages in Ireland - Ardagh in County Longford

Gorgeous Greece
Here is a throwback to my travels to Greece which I never got around to posting. I visited Greece in August, this is my second time to visit Greece having visited Athens and the Greek Islands of Corfu, Mykonos and Kefalonia two years ago. I was so surprised at how beautiful Greece is, the islands are amazing! The photos below are from the small town of Katakolon on the mainland. It is known as the gateway to Olympia. I really enjoyed my visit here, the people were so friendly and welcoming to their town. The shops were really quaint and overall it had a lovely small town feel.

Some flowers to brighten up the hallway in my house, 5. Umbrella display from a shopping centre in Dubai which my mum sent to me from her holidays, 6. Sunday, myself and my husband went out for dinner, it was really cold and this wee fire was just what we wanted to warm us up, 7. Almost Spring and the cute lambs are appearing, bouncing around the fields, 8. Planning a trip back to Florence Court House and Gardens soon, this was a photo I took of the Gardener's Cottage- isn't it pretty?, 9. An elegant swan I captured who was great at posing for me.
