Hello everyone

Hope you are having a nice weekend. I was out shopping yesterday and got a few items with my vouchers that I got for Christmas, I bought this pretty candle which smells lovely

I also couldn't resist these lanterns they are so elegant and sweet at the same time :) I have them in my bedroom but I will move them around. Sorry my rug is at the bottom of the photograph. I haven't put a candle into them yet.

I also tidied up my workspace, made some more cards, sorry the photographs didn't come out, it's very dull here this morning.

I also tidied up a bit. I was going to take photographs on Saturday as the sun was shining but alas the camera batteries were dead! Im off to IKEA on Tuesday so this time I'll make sure my camera is working, I will not be buying anything big or expensive maybe a cushion or something small but I will get some inspiration I'm sure :) Oh I also got this jar free with Uncle Ben's Rice so I was wondering have you any nice ideas what I could use it for?>> At the minute I have it on my workspace and will put a nice blue ribbon around the top. Again sorry the photograph is so poor.

It's the weekend again!! We're one week into February already, lots of rain in Ireland this week. This has been a busy week for me, I got a new job as I already mentioned in my Journey of Life post. I will be starting the week after next. I had to go dress shopping for a wedding this week too so got a nice blue dress :) I also had lots of sorting out of bills, banks, post office stuff, you know yourself. I also got the sewing machine out and made another heart but now I think it's time I got more material and stuffing for my wee hearts. I spent time with my family and friends. I am also trying to get into a routine of going to bed earlier as I'm staying up way too late, past my bedtime. I hope you all had a wonderful week. Next week will bring with it Valentines Day : ) Have you any special plans this weekend? I have to go to town Saturday and then relax on Sunday. Are you looking forward to Valentine's Day?

Since the new year I have started to collect any images of interiors I liked or which inspire me. I will stick all these images into a hard backed A4 spiral notebook. Have a look at them, sorry the photographs didn't come out great but you get the idea of the styles I like, what styles do you like? Do you have an interior inspiration book/folder? If you do I'd love if you shared some images of it with us all : )

Some of my blogger friends have reminded me of my holidays in Paris. Here are a few of my holiday photographs from Paris when I was there a a year and a half ago. It really is a truly enchanting place, with something nice to see around every corner. I went on holidays with two of my friends and saw lots of the lovely sites which I had visited before.
